cancellation + general refund policies
For classes
Full refunds will be given up to one week before the start of the program or if registration is cancelled by Selva Art Studio.
If you request a refund before the first day of class but after the one-week mark, Selva Art Studio will retain a $25.00 processing fee. If cancellation is requested during the first week of class, a credit will be issued and can be used in any other age-appropriate Selva Art Studio class in which there is space within one year of original enrollment. After the first week of class, there will be no credits or refunds.
If Selva Art Studio cancels a class for any reason, clients will be given the option to receive a credit or a full refund.
For payment plans
(anything longer than 1 month)
If cancellation is requested after the first month of a payment plan/membership, future recurring charges will be cancelled, a credit will be issued for the rest of the current month and the customer will be charged for any discounts they received with the longer payment plan/membership in previous months. The credit they receive can be used in any other age-appropriate Selva Art Studio class in which there is space within one year of original enrollment.
for Kids Night Out events and workshops
Full refunds will be given up to 48 hours before the start of the program or if registration is cancelled by Selva Art Studio.
If cancellation is requested after the 48 hour mark and before the start of the program, a credit will be issued and can be used in any other age-appropriate Selva Art Studio class in which there is space within one year of original enrollment.
If Selva Art Studio cancels a Kids Night Out for any reason, clients will be given the option to receive a credit or a full refund.
for camps
Full refunds will be given up to 7 days before the start of the camp if cancellation is requested.
If cancellation is requested after the 7 days mark and before the start of the program, customers will be given the option to receive credit that can be used in any other age-appropriate Selva Art Studio class in which there is space within one year of original enrollment or receive a refund minus a $25.00 processing fee.
If cancellation is requested after the program begins, a credit will be issued and can be used in any other age-appropriate Selva Art Studio class in which there is space within one year of original enrollment. After the program begins, there will be no refunds.
If Selva Art Studio cancels an Art Camp for any reason, clients will be given the option to receive a credit or a full refund.

for parties
If a party is canceled by the client (for any reason), Selva Art Studio will retain a $50.00 non-refundable deposit and refund the rest. Parties that are rescheduled within 3 months of the originally scheduled party date can apply the deposit towards payment of the party. Parties rescheduled after 3 months from the originally scheduled party date will forfeit the deposit.
If Selva Art Studio cancels a party for any reason, clients will be given the option to receive a credit or a full refund.
Student Behavior expectations
Behavior Agreement
In order to keep Selva Art Studio and its students/teachers safe, students are expected to follow class rules/procedures/teacher instructions.
In order to create a quality learning environment at Selva Art Studio, students are expected to join class activities along with their peers.
Consequences
If a student cannot positively contribute to art class and is instead disruptive and disrespectful, the teacher will call parents to pick the student up. The student will have one more chance to attend art class on another day if he/she agrees to change his/her behavior. If the student cannot change his/her behavior, he/she will not be allowed to attend an art class at Selva Art Studio for one year.
